Anyone one who owns PC will have an email account, whether they register through Google, Yahoo, Bing or the others. It’s impossible to reach out to these millions of email accounts but just for a moment try to imagine that you are able to send message to only a small percentage of them, you have a mass audience at your disposal.

Email marketing done correct will able you to target this people. However sending messages to these targeted people is one thing. Your ability to convert them with the product or services you offer when they read your email is more relevant.

To increase your conversion rate or success in email marketing just follow these tips.

1. Seek Consent.
Personal email accounts are a private space of the owner. People do not wish to receive mails from anonymous source. It can be annoying and your mails will likely end up as spams.
To ensure that this does not happen seek consent from them to sign up in your mailing lists. Offer them a free gift in exchange for their opt in. Free gifts could be in a form of e-book, product sample or a gift.

2. Determine Your Objective.
When you follow this marketing strategy you need to monitor the progress. Signing up with a reputable auto-responder may help you achieve your objective.
A good auto-responder can churn out useful data for you to analyze. With these info you can then assess your market and create steps on the next plan of action.

3. No Hard Sell.
Hard selling is a big No No in email marketing. Internet users receiving emails from unknown source will likely assume them to be spam and all your effort will end up in junk mail. Being too aggressive in promoting your products may end up you being ban.
To overcome this issue provide your prospects with information. Highlight your product or services with it’s unique features and benefits with news, testimonials or studies. When they are convince of your genuine interest in them what offers you may have will be readily accepted by them.

4. Knowing The Correct Time To Send Your Email.
Email marketing is all about when is the best time to send out one. Do not annoy your prospect by sending one everyday and forget about the occasional newsletter informing them about your latest promotion.
It’s best not to send out emails during holidays as most people maybe offline. By the time they open up their mailbox yours could be way below the unread ones and all goodies you have for your customers will be missed by them.

5. Maintained Your Business Identity.
When you are in a corporate business niches you may wish to retain your company logo and name in your emails. Be subtle in your branding. Don’t be too overwhelming as prospect may perceive you to be too arrogant and may be put off by it.
